Quick and basic cake recipe with flour and cardamom.

Equipment

  • 1 Big Bowl for mixing
  • 1 Mixer to mix
  • 1 oven to bake
  • 1 Big Bowl to mix egg, butter and sugar

Ingredients
  

  • 80 grams All Purpose Flour
  • 10 pods Cardamom powdered
  • 75 grams Butter Unsalted
  • 108 grams Sugar
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Essence
  • 1/4 cup Sliced Almonds(optional) topping
  • a pinch Salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375 F. Brush the baking dish with a little bit of butter or line it with parchment paper.
  • Wet Ingredients : In a bowl add egg and sugar .Beat at high speed for 10 minutes
  • Add butter,salt,vanilla extract ,cardamom powder and continue to beat until butter is fluffy.
  • Dry Ingredients: Add all purpose flour to the bowl and mix it.
  • Pour the batter in the baking dish and bake it for 40 minutes or until cake is done.
  • Use a toothpick to check for the cake to be done and the toothpick comes out clean without sticking.
