
Cardamom Cake
Quick and basic cake recipe with flour and cardamom.
Equipment
- 1 Big Bowl for mixing
- 1 Mixer to mix
- 1 oven to bake
- 1 Big Bowl to mix egg, butter and sugar
Ingredients
- 80 grams All Purpose Flour
- 10 pods Cardamom powdered
- 75 grams Butter Unsalted
- 108 grams Sugar
- 2 large Eggs
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla Essence
- 1/4 cup Sliced Almonds(optional) topping
- a pinch Salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 F. Brush the baking dish with a little bit of butter or line it with parchment paper.
- Wet Ingredients : In a bowl add egg and sugar .Beat at high speed for 10 minutes
- Add butter,salt,vanilla extract ,cardamom powder and continue to beat until butter is fluffy.
- Dry Ingredients: Add all purpose flour to the bowl and mix it.
- Pour the batter in the baking dish and bake it for 40 minutes or until cake is done.
- Use a toothpick to check for the cake to be done and the toothpick comes out clean without sticking.
