
Wheat Flour Kara Paniyaram
A simple quick delicious Kara Paniyaram with wheat flour , rice flour and curd/yogurt.

- 1 bowl
- 1 Panniyaram Pan
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Wheat flour
- 1/4 cup Rice Flour
- 1/4 cup Semolina/ Rava/Sooji
- 1/4 cup Curd or Yogurt
- 3/4 cup Water
- Salt
- 1/4 cup Onions Chopped
- 1/4 cup Grated Carrots
- 2 no's Green Chilies Chopped
- 1 tbsp Ginger
- 5 no's Curry Leaves Chopped
Instructions
- Batter Making : Mix the wheat flour, rice flour semolina/sooji/rava , curd/yogurt salt and water without lumps. Rest for 15 minutes. Add water(1/4 cup) if it is too thick.
- Fry the onions ,chilies, ginger and curry leaves till onions are translucent.
- Mix it with the batter and the grated carrots too.
- Heat the panniyaram pan by adding 1 or 2 tbsp oil in each hole.
- Take a ladle full of batter and fill each hole to half (half full in each hole)
- Allow to cook till the bottom is golden brown. Flip the other side and do the same.
- Remove it and place it in a plate.
- Repeat the same process with the rest of the batter.
- Serve with kara chutney.
