
Palada Payasam//Dessert//Sweet
How to make a simple quick sweet/dessert/payasam with rice ada , jaggery and milk.
Equipment
- 1 pan
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup Rice Ada
- 3/4 cup Milk ( Add 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup warm milk if it is too thick at the end)
- 1/4 cup Water
- 1/4 cup Jaggery Powder
- 1/4 tsp Cardamom Powder
- 2 tbsp Ghee
- 8 no's Cashews Optional
Instructions
- In a pan add 1 tbsp ghee fry the cashews to golden brown. Remove it and place in a plate.
- In the same pan add 1 tbsp ,the rice ada fry it for a minute.
- Add milk and water cook till soft.
- Now add the jaggery powder mix it and cook for 7 minutes in medium flame.
- Add the cardamom powder. If the payasam is too thick and 1/4 to 1/2 cup warm milk mix it.
- Ada payasam is ready to serve.
