How to make a simple quick sweet/dessert/payasam with rice ada , jaggery and milk.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup Rice Ada
  • 3/4 cup Milk ( Add 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup warm milk if it is too thick at the end)
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 1/4 cup Jaggery Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Cardamom Powder
  • 2 tbsp Ghee
  • 8 no's Cashews Optional

Instructions
 

  • In a pan add 1 tbsp ghee fry the cashews to golden brown. Remove it and place in a plate.
  • In the same pan add 1 tbsp ,the rice ada fry it for a minute.
  • Add milk and water cook till soft.
  • Now add the jaggery powder mix it and cook for 7 minutes in medium flame.
  • Add the cardamom powder. If the payasam is too thick and 1/4 to 1/2 cup warm milk mix it.
  • Ada payasam is ready to serve.
