
Athirasam
How to make instant Athirasam a simple and easy sweet for any occasion with rice flour , wheat flour and jaggery.
Equipment
- 1 pan
- 1 bowl
- 1 deep fry pan
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup Rice Flour
- 1/4 cup Wheat Flour
- 2 tbsp Rava/Semolina/Sooji
- 3/4 cup Jaggery Powder
- 2 no's Cardamom Powder
- 1 tbsp Ghee
- 1 cup Water
- Oil For Deep frying
Instructions
- Mix the wheat flour, rice flour semolina/Rava/Sooji and cardamom powder in a bowl.
- Heat a pan place the jaggery powder and 1 cup of water, allow it to boil then add the flour mix sauté till the water is absorbed.
- Switch off flame, cool it .
- Remove it and place the dough in a plate and mix till it is soft without lumps add 1 tbsp ghee and mix it. Now take a lemon size ball flatten it to 1/4 inch thickness. Repeat the same. .
- Deep fry one by one till it is golden brown
- Squeeze excess oil by pressing it.
- Store and Serve.
