
Kaju Masala
How to make kaju masala curry side dish for rice or bread with cashews and spices.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Cashews
- 3 tbsp Oil
- 1 cup Tomatoes
- 1 no Green Chilly
- 1/2 cup Onions
- 1 tbsp Garlic
- 1 tbsp Ginger
- 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1/2 tsp Chilly Powder
- 1 tbsp Coriander Powder
- 1/2 tsp Garam Masala Powder
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1/2 cup Water
- 1/4 cup Coriander Leaves
- 1/4 cup Cashews
- 1/4 cup Onion Cubed
- 1/2 cup Water
- Salt
- 1/4 cup Peas
- 1/4 cup Green Bell Pepper Capsicum
Instructions
- Cook the Onions 1/4 cup and Cashews 1/4 cup in 1/2 cup of water till the onions are translucent. Cool and grind to a smooth paste using the same water which we cooked.
- Heat a pan with 3 tbsp oil to fry the cashews 1/2 cup to golden brown remove it and place it in a plate.
- In the same pan add 2 tbsp oil , add cumin seeds wait to become light brown in colour add green chilies, ginger, garlic and onions fry the onions to golden brown in colour.
- Add all the spices turmeric powder, chilly powder , coriander powder mix it .
- Add the peas and green pepper/capsicum cook till soft and oil separates from the gravy. Now add 1/2 cup of water , salt cover and cook for 5 to 8 minutes.
- Add the fried cashews mix it .Add garam masala , lemon juice and coriander leaves mix it . Cover and cook for 2 minutes.
- Switch off flame .
- Serve with Rice, Bread , Roti, Poori as side dish.
