Instant Spinach Dosa

A quick simple easy South Indian Instant Spinach Dosa with Rice Four , Spinach Puree and Semoline/Sooji/Rava

Equipment

  • 1 pan
  • 2 Bowls
  • Blender

Ingredients
  

  • 3/4 cups Rice Flour
  • 1/4 cup Semolina/Rava/Sooji
  • 1 cup Spinach/Palak/Pasalai Keerai Spinach puree
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • Oil
  • 1 1/2 cups Water
  • Salt

Instructions
 

  • Mix all the above in a bowl with 1 1/2 cups of water without any lumps.Rest it for 20 minutes.
  • Spinach Puree : Blanch the Spinach in 1 1/2 cups of boiling water.Rest for 10 minutes. Squeeze the water . Grind and Puree the Spinach in a blender.
  • In a pan add 1 tbsp of oil , pour one laddle of batter make a round shape pancake/dosa
  • Add 1 tsp oil around the pancake.
  • Allow it to cook in a medium flame to golden brown colour.
  • Flip the other side and do the same.
  • Place it in a plate. Repeat the same
  • Serve it with tomato peanut chutney.
