
Ribbon Pakoda
How to make quick snack " Ribbon Pakoda" with gram flour and rice flour for Diwali.
Equipment
- 1 bowl
- 1 deep fry pan
- Chakkli Maker
Ingredients
- 1 cup 1 cup - Rice Flour1/2 cup - Gram Flour/Besan/Kadala Mavu1 3/4 tbsp - ButterSalt 3/4 tsp - Chilli Powder1/4 tsp - Turmeric PowderWater Oil
- 1/2 cup Gram Flour
- 3/4 tbsp Butter
- 3/4 tsp Chilly Powder
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
- Salt
- Water For Mixing the Flours
- Oil For Deep Frying Ribbon Pakodas
Instructions
- Mix all the flours, salt ,butter, chilli powder and turmeric powder with water to form a smooth dough without any lumps.
- Heat the oil in a pan. Insert a cylindrical shape dough in the chakkli maker with the mould and make any shape and slide it in the pan or directly you can do it.
- Flip both sides to cook till golden brown colour. Remove it and place it in a plate .You can make atleast 3 or 4 ribbon pakoda depending on the size . Repeat the same with rest of the dough.
- Store it in an air tight container and serve.
