How to make corn soup with corn cobs, milk ,water and onions.

Equipment

  • 1 Mixer
  • 1 Big Pan
  • Knife
  • Chopping Board
  • 1 bowl

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Corn Cob
  • 1 medium Onion chopped
  • 2 pods Garlic chopped
  • 2 cups Water
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 tbsp Corn Flour
  • 3 tbsp Water to mix corn flour
  • 1/4 tsp Salt Add more to your taste
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper powdered

Instructions
 

  • In a pan add 4 cups of water bring it to boil add the corn cobs. Allow it ti cook till soft.
  • Cool it remove the kernels from the cob with a sharp knife. Keep aside 1 tbsp of kernels grind the rest to a smooth consistency adding water.
  • In a pan add 2 tbsp olive oil or butter 1 tbsp saute the onions and garlic till translucent.
  • Add the corn paste, water , salt and bring it to boil. Add the milk and 1 tbsp corn kernals .After a minute add the corn flour paste(mix corn flour 1 tbsp with 2 tbsp water) and bring it to boil.
  • Switch off the flame.
  • Serve the soup.

Notes

corn flour paste is used for a thicker consistency.
Use butter instead of oil.
