How to make South Indian Snack Krishna Jayanthi/Janmashtami snack Thattai with rice flour ,urad dhal , chilli powder,salt and butter

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Roasted Rice Flour Rice flour roasted at low flame for 3 minutes, seive it.
  • 1 tbsp Roasted Urad Dal Urad Dal roasted to golden brown in colour in a low flame , cool it grind to a fine powder, seive it
  • 2 tbsp Butter Unsalted Room Temperature
  • 1 tbsp Hot Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • Salt
  • 5 nos Curry Leaves Chopped
  • Oil Deep Frying

Instructions
 

  • Dough : Mix everything to form a dough by adding water without any lumps.
  • Take a lime size dough dip your finger with little oil and make a small round shape thattai by pressing evenly and thinly to form a round shape
  • Deep fry in oil in a medium flame till Crispy & golden brown in colour. Repeat the same with rest of the dough .
  • Store in air tight container.
