
Vellai Paniyaram
How to make delicious Vellai Paniyaram with rice dal and green chillies.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Raw Rice
- 1/4 cup Urad Dhal
- Salt
- 3 nos Green Chillies chopped
- 1 tbsp Ginger
- 5 nos Curry Leaves chopped
- Oil For Frying
Instructions
- Batter : Soak for 2 hrs and grind separately. The Raw rice batter should be fine texture.The Urad dhal batter after grinding when you add a spoon full of batter to 1 cup of water in a bowl it shold float .Then the batter is ready .Add Salt.
- Add green chillies ,ginger and curry leaves to the above batter. Mix well
- Take oil in a pan allow it to heat in medium flame and take a spoon full of batter and drop it in the oil.
- Repeat the same and fry both sides till slightly brown in colour.
- Serve with any tomato onion chutney or peanut tomato chutney.
