Equipment

  • Chakli Maker with Round Shape Mould

Ingredients
  

  • 3/4 cup Rice Flour
  • 3/4 cup Gram Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper Powder
  • 3 tbsp Ghee
  • Salt
  • Water For Mixing
  • Oil For Deep Fryong

Instructions
 

  • Mix all the flours, salt , pepper, ghee with water to form a soft smooth dough without any lumps.
  • Fix the circle shape mould to the chakli maker .
  • Insert a cylindrical shape dough to the chakli maker and close it with the lid.
  • Heat oil in a medium flame press the chakli maker to make kara sev.
  • Keep flipping both sides till you get a golden yellow colour,
  • Remove it and place it on a paper towel for removing excess oil.
  • Store it in a airtight container and serve.
